Jonas Grushkin is a professional photographer, piano player, carpenter and jack of many trades. His lifetime of combining these different roles has drawn him to reimagining, redefining and repurposing material objects.
Maureen May has participated as an artist in most of of the KDUR Furniture as Art Auction, which is nothing compared to the number of pieces she has purchased.
I am an artist and fabricator with an emphasis on recycling, I am drawn to patina and wear, and strive to carry these stories of time into the pieces I create. I hope that the things I create are useful and continue a life of utility and accumulation of those tales that make a thing special and transcend from product to art, or develop significance beyond pure form.
Patty Lowndes has one of the greenest thumbs in all of La Plata County. The spider plant that she donated to Furniture As Art was lovingly raised from one of her mother plants and should be given sunlight, water and love.

Sabrina is a Fort Lewis College alumna with a degree in Graphic Design and a passion for creating by hand. She specializes in crocheting stuffed animals, clothing, and accessories. If you want an authentically made piece you can find her on Instagram @sabrinaklingdesigns

Shanti Savage (AKA Crazy Hat Lady) is an artist from Mancos. She upcycles hats from local thrift stores, turning discarded items into beautiful creations. You can find her hats and collages at Raven House Gallery in Mancos!
She also plays music with her husband Erik in Snow Plovers!
A Durango resident since 1997, Tom Joyner is a lifelong “maker” after discovering wooden building blocks and Lego’s at an early age. With a BA in Ceramics from Beloit College and an MA in Ceramics from NAU, Joyner was set to become a professional artist.

Tony is a visual artist/printmaker and is also a musician who researches, interprets, and disseminates old-time music through the fiddle, banjo and guitar. He currently resides in Durango, Colorado where he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art & Design at FLC.
