Miki Harder

"Miki Harder is a painter ~illustrator~ sometime sculptor who lives and works in Durango!

She loves birds.. especially ravens. She admires their savvy and extreme ability to make the very best of any situation.

In the summers she goes down to Lake Powell with Tiff Mapel (Whoop Tiff!) and go "Trash Tracking"~ a volunteer program with the Glen Canyon Park Service. We troll the water and shore lines for people's left overs.... HA! Like Ravens!  This really beefy bar chair was one such left over.. She KNEW she could transform it and had to Promise our boat captain she'd would make somethin' pretty with it so she could bring it home.
