Becky Turner has called Durango home for over 30 years. In 2001 she learned silversmithing with Benny and Valerie Aldrich, of Aldrich Art. These days she spends time in her home studio hammering away at silver and gold and playing with beautiful stones.

Billy Grimes had a forty-year career as a Graphic Designer working for magazines, corporate and, and advertising clients in Texas, Tennessee, and California before moving to Durango to work at Fort Lewis College. After a brief foray into product design, he is now a builder and sculptor. His other interests are music, art, and writing.
The CounterKulture Design Studio was founded in 2005 with the intention of creating concrete countertops that performed to highest of builders expectations.
Dan Groth is an artist whose cartoonish creations and vivid tales are ones for the unkwnonw lengths of your imagination. He's also a fine KDUR DJ, hosting The Cuckoo Clock every other Wednesday from 8 to 10 p.m.

Emily Lloyd is an upholsterer specializing in restoring vintage furniture. She’s a color and pattern loving maximalist, who sees value in reloving old furniture.

Erik was born in Colorado and raised by his mother, Jane, mostly in the Phoenix area. He grew up playing soccer and that led to a Bachelor of Arts degree from Winthrop University, in Rockhill SC where he made pots, prints, photos, and drew.
Erin Mahoney is a local painter, printmaker, and FLC alumni, who loves and believes in KDUR! Wavering Strangers, Audience of One, Moonlight Bath Party, A Vinyl Fetish, and The Cuckoo Clock, provide them with a soundtrack to make art to.
Ilze Aviks has maintained a studio in Durango, CO for over 40 years and has taught workshops in textile design across the United States, Australia and Canada. Aviks taught studio and Art Theory courses at Fort Lewis College and has contributed essays and reviews to numerous journals.
Janet is drawn to colorful, shiny things. Her work is far from traditional, instead often incorporating gems, jewels, agates, bike parts, old guitars, mannquines, and other lost and found items. She started blending colors as a cloth quilter, but found that glass and other shiny things are her true medium.
Jeff is a life long hiker and lover of the outdoors, as reflected in his photography. Jeff has a particular interest in photographing landscapes across the Colorado plateau, and in the nearby San Juan Mountains of SW Colorado. Hear him on KDUR hosting UPBEAT, Mondays from 8 to 10 p.m.
