About the artist:

Laura has lived in Durango for 20 years, working within the electric sector to make our world a little cooler. In a previous life, she worked as an artist in glass and found objects. Her recycled mixed-media art lamps have been nationally recognized for innovation in fine American craft. These days she is happy to be back in her studio, covered in dust, making shiny objects.
