Fort Lewis College Theatre 2020-2021 Season The 2020-2021 season at Fort Lewis College Theatre is going to be an exciting one! The school is adapting and thriving within the current limiting circumstances. Since going to the theatre is impossible while maintaining social distancing, the Fall production of Edith Can Shoot Things And Hit Them, by A. Rey Pamatmat, will be streamed online! Rehearsals have begun and the production will be aired November 27, 28, 29 and December 3, 4 and 5. There will be no charge but donations are welcomed. Stay tuned - details will be available soon on the FLC Theatre website. The FLC Theatre’s theme this year is diversity and inclusion, and Edith exemplifies those qualities to a tee. Three kids - Kenny, his sister Edith, and their friend Benji - are all but abandoned on a farm in remotest Middle America. With little adult supervision, they feed and care for each other, making up the rules as they go. But when Kenny's and Benji's relationship becomes more than friendship, and Edith shoots something she really shouldn't shoot, the formerly indifferent outside world comes barging in whether they want it to or not. FLC’s first Spring production will be Musical Scenes of Diversity and Inclusion, February 26, 27, 28 and March 4, 5 and 6. This will be an inspiring event filled with song and dance that will lift the spirit! The second production will be The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, a story about a mathematically-gifted autistic fifteen-year-old boy who decides to investigate the murder of a neighbor's dog and uncovers secret information about his mother. Curious, by Mark Haddon, is based on the novel by the same name. This production will be performed April 15, 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24. In these times of stress and isolation, FLC Theatre hopes to bring you stories of hope, belonging and understanding. Help support Fort Lewis College Theatre in these trying times! For more information, go to www.fortlewis.edu/theatre or contact FLC Theatre at 970-247-7089.
