Emergency Warming Center Volunteers The Emergency Warming Center can only open this winter if we have enough volunteers. Please consider coming to the volunteer orientation on Saturday, November 15th from 2-4 PM OR on Thursday, November 20 from 6-8 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Parish Hall (254 E. 5th Ave) corner of 3rd Street. This PSA is for the Bayfield Queer's Trans Day of Remembrance Candlelight Vigil. The event will occur on Sunday the 23rd of November 2025 at the Pine River Library in Bayfield (395 Bayfield Center Drive) from 2:00pm until 3:30pm. The event will cost nothing to attend, and is open to the public who are encouraged to attend. Our organization is a newly founded non-profit named the Bayfield Queers. We do not have a website yet, but can be contacted on social media at @bayfieldqueers on instagram and Bayfield Queers on facebook. We can also be emailed at bayfieldqueers@gmail.com or visited in person on Sundays at 11-noon for our community strategy meetings at Lizzie Q's Cafe in Bayfield.
