Mountain Studies Institute is gearing up for its 3rd annual Forest & Fire Learning Series at the Powerhouse Science Center the first three Wednesdays in April from 6-8pm. Be sure to put all three dates, April 1st, 8th, and 15th, on your calendar so you can join neighbors, friends, local professionals, academics, and fellow fire nerds for informational presentations and lively discussion about how communities in Southwest Colorado understand, plan for, and live with fire. Knowing and talking about fire is important to our community, so this learning series is free and open to the public.
