The Animas Valley Grange will host a presentation on “Let’s Get Started-Family History Research” at 6:30 pm, Feb 16, 2026. Sam Foster & Rita Placek, SW CO Genealogical Society, will help you learn about how to begin researching your own family history. They will provide useful information about taking the first steps and how to get organized. You will receive helpful tools and ideas for building research; expanding your research skills; sharing your family history results. Please join us. Bring your own paper and pencil or pen. Other handouts will be provided. The session will last an hour, and it will be followed with time for questions. This event will be held at the Animas Valley Grange Hall, 7271 County Road 203.
