Manna Garden Plant Sale Description: Manna is excited to announce their 2nd Annual Plant Sale. Please support Manna's effort to grow more fresh, nutrient dense and culturally important vegetables for our community. There will be lots of veggie, herb, and flower varieties for sale over Mother's Day weekend on Friday May 10th from 3-6 PM, Saturday May 11th from 9AM -4 PM and Sunday May 12th from 9 AM-noon. The Animas Valley Grange will host a demonstration of “Working with Wool” on May 11 from 10 am to 3 pm. Come and visit with fiber artists who knit, crochet, weave, spin, dye, and more. There will be demonstrations, displays, craft activities for kids and items for sale. If you bring a skein of yarn, you can swap it at the Yarn Trade Table. This event will be held at the Animas Valley Grange Hall, 7271 County Road 203. The program is free and open to the public. GED Graduation Ceremony: The Durango Adult Education Center is hosting our GED Graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 30th from 6:00-7:00 pm at the Durango Library, 1900 E 3rd Ave. The friends and family of our graduates, as well as the general community, are warmly invited to attend and celebrate their great achievement.
